Method 1:

• Select “Tools” --> “Address Book” from the menu in Outlook Express.
• Now choose “File” --> “Import” --> “Address Book (WAB)” from the address book menu.
• Click on the backup copy of your Outlook Express address book.
• Click “Open” and then Click “OK”.

Method 2:

There are two ways through which Contacts from OE can get deleted, one is manual deletion and the other is due to DBX file corruption.
