Microsoft Outlook restricts images in messages and instead of picture sometimes you can see a red cross mark. There are number of factors due to which pictures don’t display in Outlook emails. Sometimes, you can’t see images in emails because Outlook blocks it for a safety purpose. Some of the other reasons are listed below-
Therefore, when your pictures don’t display in Outlook, try out the following fixes-
Method #1- Disable Encrypted Page Settings
Now, go back to your Outlook email messages and check whether image is visible or not. If not, try out the second method.
Method #2- Enable Automatic Download of Pictures
You can’t view images in emails, if you have disabled automatic download of images. To enable it, follow the steps given below-
Then, open Outlook message to verify if image is visible or not. If you couldn’t able to see images even after deselect “Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items", then go to the next method in the list.
Method #3- Repair your Outlook PST file using Remo Repair outlook
If images are not displaying in Outlook emails due to PST file corruption, then you have to fix it with Remo PST Repair tool. After fixing PST file, open your email messages and check whether you can see images or not.
