PST file corruption is something which we all have heard of, and using ScanPST.exe to fix Outlook PST file issues is also something which we all know. ScanPST tool detects the problem with PST file and repairs it. However, sometimes, when you try to run ScanPST to fix any issue, it fails to start and displays an error message stating – “Scanpst.exe-Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point RCVR_Scan32@28 could not be located in the dynamic link library SCNPST32.dll”.

Method 2: Move PST File to another Computer
If method 1 failed to work, then try this out. Here, you need to move Outlook PST file to another computer which has Outlook installed in it. The Outlook version on this new system should be the same version that was used to create the original PST file (which is corrupted). Now run Scanpst.exe to see if the error has been fixed.
Method 3: Outlook Repair tool
If scanpst.exe is still unable to fix the issue, and you get the error message – ScanPST.exe entry point not found error, then you need to rely on an Outlook PST Repair tool. When you cannot run Scanpst.exe to fix issues, then an Outlook Repair program is required to fix the issue. What better tool than Remo Repair Outlook to fix the error message? Step 2: Select the appropriate scanning method. Browse to select the destination, and click on “Repair” button.

Step 3: The tool starts repairing the file and after completion, you can view the fixed Outlook PST file.
