Methods to Troubleshoot Delay in Opening Outlook Attachments

• Next, click on Trust Center Settings button

Fix #2: Enable Cached Exchange Mode

Running Outlook in Cached Exchange Mode helps you to open email attachments quickly. To enable Cached Exchange Mode -

• Navigate to File -> Account Settings
• In Account Settings window, click on Email tab
• Select the email account and hit on Change option
• Select Use Cached Exchange Mode checkbox
• Then, close the Outlook and restart it

Fix #3- Update and Run Outlook in Safe mode

If your Outlook outdated, then there is a chance of delay in opening Outlook attachments. So update your Outlook. If it doesn’t fix the issue, run Outlook in Safe Mode. Open command Prompt and run outlook.exe /safe command.
