mencoder -idx input.avi -ovc copy -oac copy -o output.avi

Note: It is worth noting that when using above tools, you may end up with a part of video missing or it may further worsen the condition by making the file permanently damaged. So make sure you have created a backup of the source file.

Also, look for a backup and check whether the file that has been damaged is present. If no, then go to next method to fix the issue.
