In some other cases, corruption in your Outlook data file called PST may also cause issues with sending emails. A PST file is a personal folder file that saves all Outlook data such as emails, notes, contacts, etc. It is important for the functioning of Outlook.
To fix corruption issues with the PST file, you can use the built-in tool called Scanpst. Just look for Scanpst.exe in the search bar. Once you find it, double click and run the tool. Then select your PST file (explained below) and start the repair process.
Locate your PST file
